There is an opening for a PostDoc to join the research group Atmospheric Dynamics, Variability, and Change at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability.

Topics of research could include atmospheric gravity waves as they relate to the DataWave project, regional high-resolution modeling, ML for SGS parameterizations, Bayesian methods, etc. Interested scientists are encouraged to reach out to Aditi Sheshadri.

Terms:

The initial appointment is expected to be for one year, with the possibility of renewal for subsequent years depending on performance.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in atmospheric science, applied mathematics, or a related field at the time of appointment. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to carry out creative, innovative, independent research, and to publish in the peer-reviewed literature.
